BeauTanica now offers eyelash extensions! Your extensions can last up to 2 months depending on the natural growth cycle of your own lashes and with proper care.

Fill-ins (touch-ups) will be necessary every 2 to 4 weeks to replace the fallen lashes and the new growth of other eyelashes.

After Care

To maintain the best care and to extend the life of your lashes follow these tips and easy care instructions.

The First 24 Hours: Avoid getting your lashes wet to allow the adhesive to cure thoroughly.

The First 48 Hours: Avoid facials or use of any hot steam from showers or saunas as well as tanning salons or swimming. Avoid use of alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, or any types of acidic substances. After this period of time, keep sauna, steam room and tanning visits to a minimum as this may cause the adhesive bond to weaken. And, always avoid sleeping on our lashes.

Daily Maintenance:

• Avoid using harsh mechanical eyelash curlers. Xtended Beauty™ Deluxe Heated Lash Curler is safe to use on natural and lash extensions and will help with the maintenance of lash extensions as they grow guiding downward growing lashes into place.
• Even though mascara is not necessary with your Xtended Beauty™ lash extensions, you can use a WATER-BASED mascara on the tips. Use it sparingly. Avoid using any oil based or waterproof mascara and eye make-up as this can cause the bond to weaken.
• Avoid using oil based cleaners on or near the eye. Instead use rinse-off water based cleansers such as the Xtended Beauty™ Prep Wash. Avoid using cotton balls or cotton swabs applicator as the fibers may get stuck to the bonded area.
• There are many variables, including technicians expertise, hair growth cycle, use of cosmetics and skin care products, and the overall care given, that will influence how long the extensions remain in place.
• Most of all, be gentle! Do not pick or pull your Xtended Beauty™ lash extensions and refrain from rubbing eyes.
